Our Story
Eva & Lena are two childhood friends who for a long time wanted to create something together. They worked in completely different industries but with a common focus on three things; home-decoration, people, and the importance of sustainable business. Both have a great interest in design, shapes, and colors.
As the ideas began to take shape, they were lucky enough to meet Ajita, a female Indian designer who previously lived in Sweden and who wanted to collaborate. They have now created unique patterns, which then become beautiful block-printed items like tablecloths, kitchen towels and cushions. The designs and the color combinations are done to bring the best of two worlds. We hope you will like our handmade textiles as much as we do.

NILIKA Designs Pvt Ltd is an India-based home decor label, designing luxury home textiles and other items. The goal is to give a new breath of life to the fading handicraft culture of India. Mostly our products are handcrafted in India using traditional, artisanal techniques. The natural process makes each creation unique & charming. NILIKA which means “true Indigo” is the oldest plant based color dye native to India. The brand promotes slow, sustainable, ethical production processes encouraging quality & craftmanship which is beneficial to both society & the planet.
